    WTB Rivet Setter

Any of you sheath makers have an old rivet setter sitting around your not using. Do not want to invest big money for two reasons.
    1. Not going into business just a hobby
    2. not a lot of money to go around..lol

    thanks

Thanks but looking for a press. Not a hammer style. Blessings

I found something going through boxes that I think might be what you’re looking for. I’ll see if I can dig it back up tomorrow.

It looks like this only in better condition.

Antique cast iron rivet tool embodies the style characteristic of the early industrial era; for use as intended, makes a great addition to your antique tool collection, or as a decorative element in industrial steampunk or rustic farmhouse decor. (CLICK +MORE BELOW FOR THIS LISTINGS FULL

thanks tim. does it have the dies for the rivets?
I ask because i have an arbor press but no dies and it has no holes.
so maybe i would just have to get dies and drill it out?
            I appreciate your effort

I have that exact same one. It's was my Dad's that he used to make his own nylon Coon dog collars.

I don’t think so, but I will look around.

I bought an arbor press from harbor freight and some dies from knifekits... just had to drill holes in the arbor press to fit the dies and it works well

Where did you order the dies from? Tandy only shows one.
