Here....working on my 3rd ( ) cup of coffee after polishing of some McDonald's pancakes and sausage.

Kids watching spongebob (or spongeboob, as we call him). Looks like a pretty day to go fill some feeders and enjoy the outdoors. Maybe get to work in a trip to Cabelas too.

I am here!

Rolled into Austin yesterday and did a couple of TBH Express exchanges with Glen and Rooserpt friend. Then had a nice lunch at Dario's with some buddies, then went by the UT Football offices to say hello to some folks, then had an amazing dinner at Ranch 616, then saw my buddies open for Cross Canadian Ragweed at La Zona Rosa. Was graced by the presences of Simek and Double Lung as well.

Today is Hut's for lunch, Scholz for drinks and then the Texas - Kstate basketball game. Our tickets are not as good as I like, so I am thinking we might go find an outside patio to watch the game.

Sure is great to be alive in Austin, Texas!

Well, just another day sitting at the office and daydreaming about a big gobbler strutting in the sunrise. boy the days are sure long when season closes.

Well, I am starting a new bible study series tomorrow for the college students that I teach each week. It is called The Blazing Center. And I can't wait to see what God does with this. I just stand before those kids amazed each week to know that there are kids their age that love the Lord. I can remember when I was their age, my Sunday morning ritual usually relied heavily on water, and aspirin. I pray that each of my children will reach a place similar to this in their walk and find a joy in enjoying God and His creation. Of course as they follow me into the outdoors I can see that heritage of hunting being perserved. My only desire is that they will develop the same passion for the Lord, and seek Him in everyday.

I thank you for starting this thread and pray that the Lord might minister to those who visit here and continue to lift up His glory.

Took our middle school archery team to a shoot in Ennis yesterday and we came out with 6 of the 10 plaques. 1,2,3,4 in girls and 3,5 in the boys division. Four schools competed with abotu 150 shooters. A very good day for the school's archery team!! If you have kids in school and don't have archery as a sport, contact your school administration and demand it! It's AWESOME!! Look out State!!

While I am partial to the old image, have no complaints of the new one either

Man, what a great thread! I have been so busy working on my normal job, trying to get my own little goldmine going and doing the family thing I have had very little time for TBH in the last week. It's really nice to take a break and see such a good thread. And who would've thunk it, Casey started it

I think I need to do a little drunk posting like the old days

Present.

Just a quick request for anyone in the Cranfills Gap area this afternoon: should you see a funeral procession headed to the Rock Church Cemetery, please say a little prayer for that family. A 40yo man's life was ended way to soon earlier this week, and he will be missed.

I was a pallbearer at the funeral this morning, but couldn't make it to the burial, as we have a big family baby shower for the wife and I this afternoon. Our baby girl Bailey will be here soon.

Great thread. Better idea.

Looks good to me.

This thread reminds me that I really need to start keeping a journal.

At 9 this morning, Joseph and one of his buddies made me look like an idiot in an airsoft war. I got the first hit on both of them and then it was all down hill. Joseph had an 11:00 am basketball game. He played great and they won by 2. Very exciting game. Now it's off to the restaurants for a couple of hours before batting practice tonight and team bbq/bonding/social hour for parents ect. Good times!
