Here.

I'll be taking a 12 year old boy and his dad hog hunting on our lease next weekend. I've known and hunted birds, and shot a few prairie dogs along the way, with his dad for over 25 years but never anything else. His son loves hunting and this will be his first hog hunt. Hopefully the hogs will come out to play while we're there.

Not looking for comments or anything.....just wanted folks to know I just got word a good man's pain has ended. He was a fine southern gentleman, and my great-uncle. Don't let this drag things down, as he really is in a much better place. I was asked to be a pallbearer and said I would be honored. Richard "Uncle ****" Ratliff was a fine man. Thanks for reading.

I'm coming for sure and I'm trying to get my friends son to come with me to do a little feeder filling and goofing off. We'll see if he comes.

I'll give you a call tomorrow and see if we can get together.

You know, TBH is absolutely the most addictive habit that I have ever had. I just have to try to remember to do a little work while I'm at work

I was at BPS this evening and saw a father son come out of the archery range. Dad's bow was in the case and here comes mister little bit, probably all of 4 years old, carrying his little recurve and suction cup arrows. I thought to myself "Way to go, teach him right early on." Here's one to all the dad's.

I might as well continue. I started on here because of Rotag, Steve Slevin. One heck of a fine man, fair, honest, hard working and a great sense of humor. Oh, and his wife is hoooot. He told me every one on here is just like him. He does lie just a little.

It was one of the nicest things any one has ever done for me. I'm on here every evening. I read almost every thing. Steve and I are going hog hunting tommorrow for a couple of days. I will miss my green screen evening fix for sure.

This all started with me building him and Laura a horse barn and stalls. Now I have another great friend and hunting buddy. And he got my name from two different people on the green screen as well.

Here...the family is out in the den watching some ghost documentary. I watched it for a bit then caught myself laughing to calm my nerves so now I'm on the green screen. I don't do ghost.

3 days or hard core arrowhead digging last week darn near did me in. I turned 33 on Monday and feel every single year of it right now. My lower back is killing me. It sucks getting older.

Brett and I bouth us a Russian made AK-47 (7.62x39mm). Fun times ahead.

I've got a lot to feel good about and be thankful for. Even with that, after getting bombarded by so many things during a day that tend to to cast a negative cloud on things, I can find a warm and fuzzy feeling here. A few mornings ago, about 5:30 or 6:00, I noticed Donna Sargent was among the TBHers logged in....there weren't many of us. I think she was probably finding the same thing.

here!!

I know why I'm here. Not to sound sappy but TBHers have become my family. Bought, sold, traded, learned, tought, found, met, will meet, prayed and cryed ( and drank a few...).
Hopefully I have stepped up a notch since being here. Y'all are my teachers and proud to call you friends.

Just glad I got my computer fixed. It was loaded with viruses and acting up. I was sweating it pretty bad and my wife couldn't figure out why I was freaking out so much. Was worried about it crashing and missing out on everything. Had to download new virus protection and ran a scan. Now I'm back in bidness. Wife said we need to form a support group for the addicted.

My beautiful little girl got earrings and I gave my wife box seats for the Billy Joel/Elton John concert in San Antonio for her birthday today!

I had a terrible hunting season but it was by far trumped by having a little angel in my life!
