Default Met Michael Waddell today.

At Live Oak Archery in Bryan. My son was looking for a string for his self bow he's been working on. Had no idea he'd be there. Nice guy!

Great guy! Met him a couple times.

Did you have him sign your son's bow?

No I probably should have. Wasn't thinking! He did check it out though.

Great pics. I was able to talk with him on the telephone about coming down to South Texas to do a hunt. This was back in 2003 and we visited for about 20 minutes. I have heard good things about him and heard some first hand stories that are much worse. He is in the business of self-promotion and to make money off his brand/name.

Cool experience for your kid I'll bet
Sounds like it was a good experience and looks like he left with a smile
I always like to hear when a celebrity takes time to visit and leave a good experience with someone especially a young person. You never know much a good experience can influence or bright the day for a young person or the rest of us for that matter

Sounds like it was good day for all there

It was a neat moment. He was friendly and engaging with my son and I and that's all I can ask. Seemed like a nice guy.

Beyond that I don't doubt that a guy can be totally different in real life compared to his public persona. And I am not offended by anyone's comments or opinions on him. I find it amusing so fire away

I met him at the RMEF banquet last night. Talked with him for a while. Seemed genuine enough and I like to make up my own mind about people and not let a bunch of gossip change my view of people.

At the Brazos Center. Didn't win anything but had a good time with some good friends from college. Lined out an elk trip for Colorado in Nov.

Yessir! Larry is good people for sure. A truly genuine guy both on and off camera. He comes to the Columbus area quite a bit because he's from here. I finally got to meet him a few months back.
