Default First attempt at camo swirl paint tonight.

My son and I partnered up this evening and tried camo swirl painting for the first time on a Choate Specialty Pistol stock. Happy with the results. Will get a few coats of premium matte auto clear once it's cured.

I like it a lot! Looks really good and the swirling/amount of green is really cool. Great job!

Looks great, reminds me of ice cream right now- I must be hungry.

I need to give this swirl thing a shot.

I've got a few bland guns I could practice on.

It looks great. what kind of paint did you use? I've only used crappy paint that we had on hand. It looked ok, but would ultimately scratch off easily.

I used adhesion promoter on stock then krylon fusion for base coat. I then used humbrol testers for the swirl. Will let all cure for a week then finish with two coats of an auto quality matte clear coat to protect the finish.
We shall see.... happy so far....

You couldnt have asked for that to turn out any better. Very nice. My son and I have done several Euro mounts with the spray/paint dipping and really like the look.
