Her first flight over two hours and she struggles to sit still. Should be an adventure! 16 hours of marital bliss about to unfold. I did bring lorazepam and ambien if needed to enhance the mood!

Yep. I think first class was $10,000+ a ticket. I don't have any free miles on these airlines so it's lots of drinks take an ambien and kill more animals. Has worked for several trips to Africa and Europe.

Dang, I thought nz was supposed to be easy with firearms. We are in the midst of a Charlie Foxtrot here! We got through the police station and license with no problem. Even customs wasn't bad. Checking in for next flight is a cluster!

We made it through but it was an adventure! Your bolt not only has to be out of the rifle but it has to be in a deprecate bag! And they don't like finding a couple live rounds in your carry on! Not sure how I got through security in the states!

They guy at the oversized baggage said the "live rounds" were by my binos in my backpack. I was pretty sure I had cleaned out the backpack because it is new but we did take it shooting before we left. Then I remembered my bino case/strap!

This is how I carry my leicas.

There are some pockets on the harness.

Found this when I opened the main pocket.

Apparently 3 rounds of 7mm-08 in a carry on bag causes some excitement! I totally forgot I put those three rounds in there the last trip with with junior. I wanted a few extra bullets in case things got spotty and obviously forgot they were there. No idea how security in the US didn't find them.
