So they updated the 21 day calendar and my area is closed the opening weekend. Does anyone know the possibility that will change before than?

It's possible if they cancel training. My spot was closed the first three weeks last season.

Must be living right or have luck of the Irish, been drawn all but one year since 1993. Got an email and the system was jacked again this year. finally, got the second "go ahead" email and got my first pick from my I phone. Spot I've wanted to hunt for several years, already have hogs coming in after one day. Red meat is good. Hope to get my new longbow baptized early.

Check 21 day calendar daily and pray.

Jim, it could change at any time. Areas that are open for hunting today could be closed tomorrow if a u it schedules it for training. It's just 3 weeks away and a lot can happen in that time.

Tom, think I saw that buck on the Jeep road between us last year. He stepped out onto the trail at @55 yards and looked right at me.. when I twitched he was gone straight away. I'm in -17 below the dam this year.

Thanks MilMan. Hope to get some big two blade heads bloody.

No problem, just keep checking the 21 day schedule. Yeah, it sucks not seeing your area not listed but things are fluid and change. Heck, we could get a big storm like last year and everything is closed. It's Bullis, anything can happen!

I'm in 6A and have high hopes for this Big River longbow of mine. Might have to fight the hogs off first.

Hey wudstix I'm in 6a as well. I've only gotten one hog on camera so far. But my area was loaded with sign. So hopefully we won't be fighting them too much

Tom that is awesome, most guys that hunt there do not have the patience like that, dedicated hunter for sure, thanks!

I have 3 to 4 sounders, est over 60 easily showing up mostly at night, and some sleeping next to the feeder. Only couple small bucks during the day and three does, I have only shooter buck showing during the dark hours.

Two boars with 4-5in cutters and one with ear tag.

only shooter buck

Acorns are the issue right now. My area is loaded with them every where and so the big smart bucks and other deer don't need to frequent the corn feeders right now. I do have a few nice buck on camera during the day, but mainly got the hogs coming in for the corn right now. My guess is once the acorn crop dries up or the ones on the ground go bad the deer will be back at the feeder. Only a little time will tell. But, less than a week and we'll be live!

I agree, very productive crop of acorns this year compared to last year on Bullis.

Where does everyone get their corn. I've been getting mine at Walmart. 50# bag is $7.50 I used to get a deer feed at home in Ohio from a feed mill for the same price but it was loaded with goodies the deer loved like molasses and oats and grains with a base of corn. I know we can't use that on Bullis so I'm just curious where people are getting theirs and how much?

The biologist trap them and I'm guessing after they do what ever they do with them they tag them. Call the office and ask, or ask when you check out.
