School me on my longbow!

I have a green mountain long bow "shadow" 60# @ 25" and I know nothing about them. It was given to me as a gift along time ago and I shot it a bit and put it away for years. What's it worth? Is it a custom bow?

I remember them.. I never saw many of them but I remember them. I can see why you never shot it. 60# @ 25'' equates to 72# at 29'' and that was about the right weight for me whaen I was 25 or so.

being that it is #60 @ 25" , it was probably made special for someone. The standard weight to draw length is @28"

It is indeed a custom bow.. they were and are not as popular as some of the big names but, still a good shooter. I think the bow limbs looks as though they were made with Yew which makes for a very nice limb. As far as value - I would imagine you could get $300.00 for her but, the draw weight may be a big deterrent in getting it sold!

What length is it?

It looks short, BUT if it is a 66" or better, you might be surprised by how easy it shoots.
