That longbow is one of Bob Sarrels Sierra longbows. I think it was one of the first one's Bisch had.

New Zealand Red Stag

I am so excited to get to post up in this section. 2010 is looking up to be a fantastic year. Here is the LDP of the Red Stag I harvested in New Zealand near Timaru. The pics do not do it justice. He is 41/1/2 inches long and great mass.

What a weekend!

Had the opportunity to hunt the King Ranch, thanks to my cousin's husband Dr. Bart Ballard. Tally for the weekend ...3 hogs, 1 javelina, 1 jackrabbit, 3 diamond-back rattlesnakes (and 1 turkey with shotgun).

I bagged a fat sow and big old jackrabbit with my Chek-Mate recurve.
Hunting with my recurve has re-ignited my bowhunting enthusiasm.
