So Who Else Is Paying $1000/month For Health Insurance?

My insurance will be going up for 2018, I can't tell you how much i hate our nations Health Insurance.

Doesn't seem to matter how much of a raise i get, it will have to go to higher premiums.

Any independent contractors/self employed have any helpful ideas?

Almost $1,500/month for my wife and me - deductible $7,000 each. I have until Dec 15 to select a new plan but I can't bring myself to look at how much it is going up.

$879.94 per month or 24% more than last year. $5600 deductible and I am single. If I went with a much lower deductible it would be $1198.65.

                Going over 60 is crazy.

But look on the bright side. You can keep your doctor AND you're helping insure those who won't do it for themselves.

I wish it was only $1000/month. Both of us in our 60s and we have great maternity benefits.

It's suppose to be expensive and unaffordable by design. When enough of us finally cry the Government will then come in to "fix" the mess (they) made by telling us a single payer system is the answer

$1800/month, $6000 deductible and we didn’t get to keep our doctors or hospital and they don’t cover half of what they used to.

$982 a month just for me. I hate to try and change to something else. My plan is with BCBS, $1000 deductible, 70/30 co insurance. I’m 58 so I know stuff is gonna start breaking.
