You got any shinnery? I've seen lots of acorns, spotty, but those that got em are loaded.

I have not seen any acorns or fruits on those shrubs. Those thickets are all over my place in very sandy soil. MY FIL thought that it is called skunk bush or sumac. Next time I am out there I will get some photos to try and get an ID on what exactly it is. Also have a lot of switch grass, sage, wild sunflower and yuca. No cattle has ever been on this place that I am aware of and it is absolutely overgrown.

This buck has been around a while, he's got me figured out.

First to drop, last to finish.
He drops his antlers around Christmas.
                  Losing that left eye, too.

Maybe the rains help him finish strong.
Anybody care to take a guess on score?
I would say 150" or so. You got some nice ones on your place!

Overgrown is awesome. Yeah that's skunkbush in your trailcams. Skunkbush, sage, and shinnery like the same kind of soils, that's why I asked and was hopeful you had some shinnery.

                      What does FIL mean?

Apologies for photo quality, but he was a long ways off and pivot hoses were in the way. Thought y'all would like to see a glimpse of a heck of a mule deer walking into the corn.
