This buck has started showing up at one of our food plot feeders. He has a normal 4 point side on the left and what appears to be a common base triple beam of the right side. My opinion is that he is only 3yrs old but my dad & brother think he is mature and has enough charecter to justify killing him if they get a chance. What is you opinion on this bucks age?

3.5. Make sure you're as scent free as possible .
Does "character" justify shooting a young buck? Just curious. Usually a young buck with "character" can get really interesting given a few more years.Last edited by HoustonHunter; 11-13-2014, 08:29 AM.

The only justification IMO to shooting a young buck is if it is a new hunter and it is their first one. His character is all the more reason to let him walk to me
