What's the best way to wire a road feeder to the front of the truck with a switch on the inside

Auto parts store will have a 2 prong extension in the trailer section. Cut that in half and use one side for feeder and other for truck side. Run 2 strand wire into cab and ground one side and find an aux got to tie into or an empty fuse panel to run hot too. Put switch in line with that










Or buy a super duty and just flip a factory switch like I do
