I need a new string for my recurve. My problem is I only have bought face in b50 strings for my bows since they are all older. I have read a little about the fast flight and others. I'm replacing the string on a Hoyt gamemaster 2 so I believe it can handle the faster strings. The string that is on it now is a Flemish so I doubt it came from Hoyt that way but material is unknown to me.

One thing to consider when switching to a new string of different material and strand count, etc. If you end up with a better performing string, you will have to retune your setup. I would think going from a B50 to FF, you are going to end up with a setup that is too weak... and you might have to cut down on your shafts or drop some point weight, etc...
