I've owned a few bows and shot many more and the Triax is the first bow I've shot (and now owned) that is distinctly and clearly ahead of the pack.
It's compact and not the bow for everyone, but it is remarkable. Shoot one is all I can say.

Pretty subjective question.......as you can see from the answers. I shot one for 5 years and was pleased. But I tend to shoot what fits me best, they all kill dang efficiently as compared to the mid 1980's and 90's!

About 3 years ago, I ponder the same question, since I figure a back up would be in order. So I did some research. This is the answer I got. So the search began and it wasn't long, I found one here in the classifieds and in the same draw length. I bought it but yet to shoot it yet, being it was a bare bow. All I need for it is a rest.
So, everybody I have ran into since, have told me the same thing. The Switch Back XT had been the best bow they ever shot. Some still have it, some regret ever selling it!!
