          You can do what ever you want, it's your brisket. Just don't share your fetish with us.

          Their is not a "proper" temperature to smoke a brisket. You have your low & slow and hot and fast folks. Pick your poison.

                Microwave defrost setting for 6 hours. Then medium setting for 2 hours. Yum!

                  Are you asking when the brisket is done? It's been a while but somewhere around 190-200. while in the smoker I prefer a pit temp below 250.

                    225 and flip after 3 hours. Baste with liquid smoke

                          Crawfish boiling pot.

                          Bring 4 gallons of Dr. Pepper to boil......throw in brisket and two cups of liquid smoke for 18 minutes...Cooking by time is essential here. ..pull out and slap yo momma.
