Default Balmorhea pool closed indefinately

Heard on the radio that balmorhea closed indefinately for a crack in the wall near the diving board.
Hopefully they will have it fixed by july.
But it is government. So probably take 6 months to a year

Couldn't have worked on it this winter when nobody wanted to swim?

Heard Rosie O'Donnel was visiting last week. Bet she tried a gainer off the diving board.

They supposedly just found it during their annual inspection.

Made a special trip there on our way back from Colorado last summer to camp for a couple days. Of course a nasty monsoon hit about the time we arrived and wasn't going to let up, so we continued driving to Kerrville...bummer for sure, looked like a cool spot.

you've got no excuse when they get it back open...

I bet it isn't more than an hour and a half from your lease.

This will definitely cut down on the west Texas scuba diving market.

Yeah that’s a shame I grew up around there and it was always a fun time to go cool off in that pretty spring pool.
