Default Gauging interest

So I'm still really bummed the trad hunt/shoot at Big Oak was lost. I'm also envious of the fellas going on the trad hog hunt.

I've seen a couple of others express interest in the trad hog hunt if there were openings. I've also heard from another member who would be interested in being part of a trad group to do a pig hunt.

So I'm wondering if we can put together a group of six to twelve folks to do a weekend of pig shooting traditional style.

Depending on the cost/person, i would be game. I was just out shooting some and was dreaming of drawing first blood with the recurve.

I'm confused, what are you game for... or gauging interest for? did I miss something?

Oops, betrayed by my ignore list and this new tapatalk update that made it look like you started the thread.

For the record, I am not interested

Dang. Sorry I made your ignore list. I worked hard to do that but it's a bitter sweet thing.

I would be interested "IF" I wasn't a poor boy.

Go for it. There's always interest in hunting, especially a gathering of friends for a hunt.

I learned something - This forum has an ignore feature.
OK, OK. I already knew it, but I can't recall ever using it on anyone anywhere , although I have been tempted a few times.

I hadn't picked a place. If there were enough interested trad hunters we can find a place I'm sure.

I don't have anybody on an ignore list. At least on the forum. I may have some selective hearing here at the house.

Looks like you have the interest. Texas S Bowhunting is a pretty good place. I'm sure there are other places that may be more centralized for your group. Good Luck!

Gary, I would be interested if I can get the time. I would mention it would be nice to have as soon as possible because even as early as May, it can get very hot in S. Tx. or anywhere in TX for that matter.

I’m out, I already attended 3 different Trad hog hunts each year.
Just Not enough time to go around

I understand. I just want to go hunt pigs with my recurve. My lease is hit or miss right now, the ranch miss and I'm the only trad shooter at either place.

BTW I will be getting with you on a bow as soon as I sell the TC.

What do you mean that the Big Oak Trad hunt was "lost".

I performed a search and cannot find info.

Marty sold Big Oak. So, the Big Oak Trad Hunt was cancelled.

Marty sold his place. They will continue the youth hunt there but the trad hunt was cancelled. We could always put together a group to go there but it would be full price, maybe not as expanded of an event. I'm not sure if he sold the whole property or just the hunting concession part.

I’m interested. Depending on when, where, and the cost involved, I’d love to do a hog hunt.
