    Broadhead choice for nilgai

Hey guys I'm kinda having a hard time choosing a head for a hunt I'm going on. It will be nilgai. The choice I have both in 125 gr are the slick trick viper an the magnus stinger only those 2 because I can't or don't have time to get any others an test them. So ok guys or gals what are your thoughts

Either one will get the job done. Do your part, and the broadhead will be the least of your problems. I would be more worried about total arrow weight and perfect flight.

For something as big as a 500lbs, I would use a fixed blade like an old school muzzy or RAMCAT

For "deer" size; I use Ulmer Edge........

That's an ENTRY wound....with the ULMER EDGE

15 yard shot....and the fallow buck didn't run more than 20yards..

I've killed 2 bulls with 125gr thunderheads and one of them didn't make it out of sight. Killed another with a 125gr solid. Any good fixed blade in the right spot will work. Good luck!

To the op. Between the two heads your asking about. I would use the stingers. Big animal needs the penetration.

                        I'd use the Magnus.

                        Why?
When I shot them out of my bow they hit about 1/2" low from my field points.
The slick tricks approx 3" left.

                        It's not real scientific, sorry

Magnus, stay in front of crease is most important. You hit those guys on the crease or a little behind and it will be a long day.

Magnus has a better mechanical advantage than the tricks. I shoot the vipers personally, but the stingers would work better
