    What is this weed called?

This dang weed is EVERYWHERE in our yard and it just laughs at Roundup - it urns yellow and then recovers. If I can identify it, maybe I can find a poison that'll work.

I've wondered the same thing. Nothing eats it and not much kills it.

Also looks like you need some more top soil in that there yard!

If you still have the roundup laying around, add a bit if dish washing detergent to it. seems to help with some of the harder to kill weeds around the house.

Try BK-32 or the Ortho equivalent.

If less than about 3', it's Western Ragweed. Over 3' up to 12', it's giant ragweed. Ain't any of it good....

Here's the deal with the name:

"Hori" is a title given to tattoo artists in Japan, when they achieve "Master" status. It's a prefix you add to your name. When I first joined TBH, years ago, I was a pretty well known tattoo artist. On a trip working in Asia, I was given a plaque that read "HoriTexan." So I used it for my screen name. I retired from tattooing about 6 years ago and run a ranch now, though. Lol
