Do you have to wait for your taxidermist to finish your deer mounts, the one I use in Laredo, TX just finished mine in under 12 days and that's with wet tanning. Top notch commercial type taxidermy work too. Cant wait to pick up my elk in two weeks.

If you're happy with the work then it doesn't really matter. Most 'good' taxidermists seems it's going to take about 10x longer or more. Whether that's related to reputation or quality or price could only be decided by those numbers and pictures.

I'm sure they will get up from you or someone else. Wasn't being negative. Generally good people have a back log spanning several months at the least. Someone skilled and new may not and could push out a mount in that time frame. It does raise questions on the cape and things imo
