Next up... mechanicals in a high fence talk.
Since you failed miserably in trying to bash him in the Lake Travis thread (130% full now) here is your chance to educate him on how he likes his chili.

I harvest the beans using a crossbow. But only free range beans. Only haul them in a Chevy because Fords are always broke down.

Come to think of it have we had a good "void" thread yet?

Real Texans use beans or no beans?

I'm as Texan as one can get. I eat it both ways.

Tim. I like that kind of chili made with mangos and khale with tofu instead of meat products

Roll over and tell RiverRat that I wasn't bashing him. I was merely trying to explain why it might take more time for it to fill the last 10' than some folks thought.....and that the current pool level at the time was different than what he thought it was. He came back and admitted that was the case.....and yes... it filled quick as hell even from the Corps predictions. Faster than ever in history actually...

And to answer the OPs question.....pot stirring or not. I actually like beans in my chili the more and more I do it....preferring pintos if there are beans. I also like it without. The wife likes them with beans so I usually lose that battle.

My Shiner Bock recipe makes them optional...sometimes I "forget to buy" the beans for my wife
