    Bucks chasing doe fawns

Got tired of sitting around the house and walked to the blind closest to the house this afternoon. Saw quite a few deer including bucks chasing some doe fawns. Not sure if they are receptive yet, but the boys were sure trying.

Yep, fawns born early enough can/do come into season typically in late, late December into mid January

Don’t know if it’s normal, but I saw a huge buck chasing a fawn years ago after he had shed!

There were two bucks in my front yard tending a doe fawn yesterday morning. Both bucks were 4 plus.

The ones I saw doing the chasing today were 3.5 to 4.5.
