My doc wants to get me to ~900-1000.

Also, has anybody's PCP said to stop drinking and may be the cause of my Low T.

Find a doc who is willing to treat the symptoms. Having a T-level within the normal range means that you have a T-level somewhere between an 18 and 64 year old. Being below 400-500 at 27 is not normal. I was in your exact situation (30 years old, “normal” labs, but I was having a horrible time with the symptoms of low-T).

I don’t think many PCPs are willing to touch it if it’s not clear-cut and by-the-book. Look for an andrology subspecialist (usually a urologist or possibly an endocrinologist).

              Many thanks.
I have been getting the pellets twice a year for the last 5 years.
I am very happy with them

@27 i would not get on it. hair loss, will likely stop producing on your own, chances of children dwindle.

Been on it for a little over two months now. Just had my blood checked. PSA normal and hemoglobin normal.

I was doing 1ml every other week and swinging like many others here. My peak was 600. He put me on 1ml every week. Blood check again in 6 months.

I just had a new experience. I did my shot in the same area. It hurt like hell! I checked to make sure I wasn't in a vein got an air bubble as usual, injected myself, and when I pulled out the needle blood started spewing out of leg. Not just dripping, spewing about 6 " high and all over the floor. Anyone else experience this? Why did it happen?

Yes, plenty. You hit a vein, and likely went through it. My wife does mine and always aspirates to make sure the tip isn't in a vein. I can usually tell and she knows to duck or she'll get sprayed

Had a good talk with my doc about switching from injections to pellets. Waiting insurance approval. I am one of the 30% who's red blood cells get out of whack and I have to donate regularly. With the pellets, that tends to go away and usually only seen with injections. Hope it goes through to give my leg a break. My wife is too chicken to give the shot in the butt.

I’m a beast on the pellets. No stopping me. It’s insane. Gotta stay hydrated or I will over do it and lock up! [emoji41]

Lol. I'm glad my wife wasn't there when I did. I freaked out a little myself.

Can anyone recommend a doc between kingwood and the med center? I work in the galleria so the med center is close but pcp is in kingwood.

My wife is a LVN. She staryed staying home with the kids and I'm paying her loans so i refuse to do it myself if she can, then i get a little something for my money. But, sometimes i think she treats me like a dart board the way she throws that needle in.
