I got mine from Midway very soon after ordering. I plan to put them to use asap.

I use the Nikon M-300 BLK 1.5-6x42 BDC SuperSub scope in conjunction with their Spot On™ Ballistic Match Technology and it's working great so far according to my range testing. I zero at 50 yards and have holdovers out to 250.

I will keep my 45acp Ar. I still dont see why you wouldn't have a dedicated subsonic gun instead off a 300. I sold my 300 and went to 7.62x39 and 45acp.

45 works so well its my all around after season gun.

Cheaper to run with way more bullet options.

I guess its just the hype and knowing one gun can run Sub and super. For me that was more of a pain sighting it in switching it up. Also back then 300 sub bullets were only available in fmj.

They shoot great out of my Ruger Ranch 300 BO. They actually group almost identical with the 208 Amax. I’m confident in them after testing on gallon jugs today. 3/4” expansion on exit with a water filled jug. Comparatively, the 208 amax does not expand in identical test.
