Default Things to do in Ft. Smith Arkansas?

The wife and I are going there in December for a concert and are going to make a weekend of it. I know there is a lot of history in the area. Have any of you been there and if so, what are some cool things to do?

Nice little downtown. The Papp's Pub (Pizza) place is awesome and one of the most popular places to drink too.

100% go to Fayetteville. Eat at Hugo’s or Herman’s.

Head east on I-40 to Mt. Nebo state park. There is a beautiful view overlooking Lake Dardanelle. There's a neat little seafood place called Catfish'n on the river just down from the lock.

You could visit where Blue Duck died, or take a riverboat.

There is a National Cemetery in Fort Smith with some interesting Civil War era grave sites. Many state...”x number of soldiers buried here”!
