Acme has amazing chargrilled oysters... hell 99% of the gas station seafood is better than anything here, and I’m not knocking the gas station!

Perrains is really good with a nice atmosphere and its right off I-10

Mike Anderson's is my favorite place on that side of town to eat. It's part of the Holiday Inn right there on the freeway.

George’s under I 10 is close to campus and a great place for Poboy/sandwich.

The chimes just north of campus, cant miss. sammys is good too, or georges as DSDC mentioned

Walk-ons just south of campus on Nicholson is good food

Brightside Dr.. Great place to go.

Go eat somewhere and then go to Jerry Lee's and get boudin to take home. My ex wife's family is from there and I do miss them on occasion due to their proximity to **** fine food . You gotta head toward Denham Springs and I gotta apologize for that ahead of time but it's worth it

I recommend coming over the Mississippi River Bridge and taking I-12 right about 5:00. It’s something everyone should experience once in their lifetime.

That drive will make you want to drink...especially if you're with my ex wife...hahaha Great suggestions on the grub for sure.
