Where can I get information on hunting Amistad?

Anyone get anything this season yet, i will be giving it another try probably around jan 4 weekend.

Did anybody lose a buck out there this year? I found one back in January and have it at the house if you want him. Shoot me a pm with what you shot and if it fits, hes yours.

I hear the permit is inexpensive, but where? and how?

Fee is a whooping $20 for the permit which you can pick up during business hours at the park service headquarters. Just go on by and pick it up, takes about 10 minutes and you're out.


I still have the buck at the house. I say again...if you lost a buck this past season I have him at the house. Let me know details( size, shot placement, area #, etc.) and I'll be more than happy to give him to you. I have no use for him since I didn't shoot him and I already have him euroed out for ya.
