Looking forward to this chapter. Was wondering how and when they would find room for him. Guy could have been on most opening day rosters.

Not on this roster. His bat has not even touched a ball today.

No offense to the followers, friends, and family; but at least display some intensity and motivation. Resembles a Jay Cutler as a baseball player.

Bring Jake back up.

I don’t know this kid, I wish him the best, that said I was surprised this morning to find that they sent Jake down. He is struggling at the plate but he can flat fly and flashes some serious leather in the field. Hinch has shown he will stick with guys and let them play there way out of a slump, I think to keep the club house chemistry together. This kid better figure out how to hit that cutter or slider, after today I predict he will see a steady diet of them.

There's another Bregman, Correra, or John Doe sitting on a roster in the minors that hasn't been called up because a Major roster is maxed (and like now, with players that aren't producing).

Those that don't are sometimes fortunate enough to go back down and work on their skills until they get called back up (or not).

Seriously... your judging him based on his first couple at bats in the big leagues? That is laughable...

Oh by the way, he just got a base hit...

Tick tock. Care to place any real wagers on how long he's on the roster?

I donít think he will be a defensive improvement, and not sure about his speed, but right now he is solidly in there at .250.

Lol, what just happened here?!?!?

I’m excited to see what Tucker can do. Let’s not forget he’s 21, traveled all night to get to town and start for the Stros....his 1st Major League start by the way. I’m sure the guy was nervous and a little in over his head. Let’s see what happens when he settles in!

I'm just glad to see the Astros have some depth. It's seems like Hinch could throw out any number combination of players on the field and the Stros will win. Guys on the bench would be starters on other teams.

Jake had his chance, he was hitting below .200. That won’t cut it. Time for Tucker to have his chance. Glad he got a hit last night.

And wow at tigercowboy, you got something personal against Tucker? Lol. He will be fine, he’s 21, in his first MLB game. Hinch is on record as saying “he doesn’t have to be the guy. He’s coming in to a very talented lineup. He will have a chance to develop.”

A) trolling
B) incredibly ignorant about baseball AND unable to google.
C) likes vinegar. A Lot.
D) all of the above.

He made the list...not a first rounder due to being extremely transparent...but on the list regardless.

Probably a good player but sure doesn't show any intensity and motivation. Not really impressed.

If he doesn't rip the dugout phone off the wall next time he strikes out we should just cut him from the organization. Although if he did that the no intensity argument would flip to him being an immature crybaby.
