Home run on the first pitch and then 3 strike outs. I think it will be ok.

No choice but to hope JD has "it". We should start to find out in the next 8 weeks. I t h i n k there's enough tradeable pieces to make a decent dent in roster shortcomings. We'll see...

I noticed in the draft they went heavy on BIG / TALL pitchers. We'll see how it works out in a few years.

I, for one, am glad to see the Ranges bunting against shifts. If a club wants to give you a base, take it.

Now Fister, as not so great as he has been, is injured.

@ least he pitched quickly.

Gotta give Fister a little credit for going as far as he did after 45 putches or so in the 1st.

He only gave up a swinging bunt single to Altuve in the first if I recall correctly. The second is where he ran into trouble. But Ive been in and out of the house so maybe I missed something.

Astros are looking good, but that happens a lot when the play the Rangers these days.....

Score is 7 to 3, should be 7 to 1. Plate umpire is not at the top of his game tonight.

So 2 outs and an 0-2 count on Kemp.....walk, single, triple, double, single equals 4 more runs to make it 6-0 good guys. Jeff I think you have your answer.

Well Moore is just horrible. Every time he gets to 2 outs in an inning it is time to start giving up runs. 4 in the 2nd think the stro might get 10 or more off this guy.

So much for the thought that some early run support would relax Keuchel and let him do what he does.
