So a few buddies of mine headed out to the range Tuesday afternoon for some friendly fun. Well that quickly turned south just after arriving. The newest member to the group had gotten in to shooting last year. He was excited to join and shoot in the group.
Heck he was so excited he put his finger in front of the release trigger and lit one off at almost full draw. Please see photos below. Lessons were learned. He’s ok just gonna have to wear that one off....

Better that he's the one who learned a very important lesson, that only hurt him temporarily, than him running an arrow thru one of you guys

Years ago my buddy was teaching a young guy ( 19 -20 yrs old) how to shoot a bow. He explains every thing sets him up in front of a target at 10 yards . The guy draws the bow back and lets go of the riser!!!! it comes flying back smashing into his hand and face.

I was shocked never seen anything like that . Off to ER for that guy , several bones broken in his hand , face need stitches

Bang Switch? Must have been shooting a Bowtech... I kid, I kid. In all seriousness I'm glad no body was seriously injured, hopefully that love slap will keep him more focused next time.
