    Deer price hunts...

I inquired on a hunt last year and just got new price of $3000 for up to a 170” for a guaranteed kill with any weapon.

Wow...this may make people rethink a lease.

    $5000 up to a 200”

There has to be a catch because that is cheap compared to what I have seen

      170's are the new 120's....
They will get even cheaper I'm afraid unless disease gets them.

What are you smoking to think a 170 is common. How many of them have you taken?

It might make a few people.rethink a lease but most of us would not consider it.

That’s a good deal for sure.
But would all depend on the hunting situation..
                Size of pasture?
But would still keep my lease for having family fun..

Sounds like a good deal. I personally would never rethink a lease. I enjoy going to the lease year-round to hang out, fill feeders, bbq, and drink a few beers. It’s a place for me to take my Dad and kids once or twice per year. I would never trade a lease for a one-time hunt to kill a larger deer. Thats just me though.

Weekends with family and friends at the lease is 100x’s better money spent then a 2 day hunt to quickly pull the trigger and leave.

Buttttttt that’s why opinions exist I suppose

I don’t quite agree, but I understand what you are saying.

In a high fence, pen raised deer scenario, 170” are way on the low end. 200” bucks are not even a big deal any more.

My neighbor raises deer and most of the clients want a basic 10 or 12 that scores 150 to 170. They want a deer to look like he came from the wild not some juiced up multi point freak looking deer that you can tell he was pen raised. That is a good price for sure

It would never make me rethink on a lease, but I would definitely consider it in addition to my lease at that price.

"UP TO" are the key words
