Is this guy as old as I think?

Typically I don't see large bodied mature whitetails on a regular basis on this small 180 acre property. We have seen and killed 4-5-6YO bucks but it's understandably a rare occurrence to see one consistently.

I have followed one nice wide 8 for the last 3 years and he should be a 5 year old this year. He has been a recognizable deer for 3 years as far as antlers but no tell tale distinct body marks.
This buck is similar looking but I never noticed a slit in the ear before. I know it could be new but I am just curious as to how old y'all think he is?
I am uncertain if I think it is the same deer or not..

I wuld have to agree im thinkin 5 right now maybe 6. The only reason I say maybe 6 is because of his beer belly in that 3rd pic and his fat high hinds. But maybe just the way this picture is angled.

good deal! sometimes i get overzealous on this small property and unconsciously overage bucks because I WANT to see an older age class where its nearly unheard of. But I see my few grandpas passin through in the dark and even an occasional shot on one.

I'll mark him a 5 year old, and one I want to let the air out of!
