    Hopefully you can get it in then get some rain pretty soon after. The earlier in September you plant the more it will be up by the time it gets cold. It seems to me the wheat in the panhandle due better when planted in sept, but I'm no farmer. I have only hunted on places that have wheat and friends places that have wheat.

      100 lbs per acre is pretty standard.

        We planted this weekend about 125lbs an acre. Now we just need rain.

        Todd. The guy up in the NE sendero has a freaking bruiser on camera. Trying to get him to send me some pics. Was gonna snap a few from his computer screen but my phone was dead. 150ish 9 pt. probably has 25"+ main beams. Very impressive looking deer.
