Up and Comers dos
I posted up earlier in the season as the antlers were just starting to take shape then haven't had much at all to look at other than a pic here and there. I stopped protein in late august when the cattle get moved to the small corn field pasture with the protein feeder.
I checked the camera yesterday from the first two weeks of the corn slinger. I had a small amount of product being thrown, not knowing how hard they were hitting it. After looking at the pics, I turned it up.
I'm throwing a hot mix of corn, roasted soybeans with a dab of protein pellets.
I have two 10's, one with a large crab on his right beam a really good 9 and a couple of smaller 8's.
Hopefully, I can entice them to stick around and not get shot...
