Serious question does Hippo taste good? Just wondering if anyone has tried it.

Great pictures! someday I hope to be able to go to Africa.

One day I'll head over there and kill a crocodile

I have never tried it, I can tell you that Sable is the best out of all the animals I have eaten over there.

So I had to google it.
Hippopotamus. In the words of author and hunter Peter Hathaway Capstick, “It is my personal opinion that hippo meat is one of the finest of game foods … The taste is mild, less than lamb and more than beef, slightly more marbled than usual venison. It tastes exactly like, well, hippo.”

FYI - the hippo is considered the most dangerous animal on the Dark Continent. They are responsible for killing more humans than the Big 5 combined ... lions, ele, cape buff, leopards, rhino

they can't see very well, but have a nose better than a pig. A pod of hippos can do some serious damage if a mother with calf feels threatened

This is a true statement! Hippos are some bad dudes.
