I am looking for someone that buys timber in Brazoria county. I have a bunch of pine trees on a piece of property that I need thinned down.

I don't have any recs for who but I can tell you from experience....get a written contract that includes the obvious and clean up of tops,ruts etc.

Setting up a couple trail cams to do a load count always helps. Lol

Any idea how many trees and size? Or approximate size and how many acres? Is it planted timber? I have a neighbor in the business

How much acreage are you talking about. If sufficient enough, you might want to contact the Texas Forestry Association or even the Texas Forest Service for list of forestors in your area.

No its only planted trees around a four acre piece. I'm from east tx with long family ties in timber. Its not a lot but anything beats me burning it all.

I hate to be the barer of bad news, but you're not going to find anyone to log 4 acres in East Texas, much less Brazoria County. There just isn't any profit to be made on a haul that size.

Spot on I have trouble getting loggers for anything less than 100 acre jobs.
