Little late starting this thread....it’s the second day of the hunt here in SE Montana for either a Mule Deer buck or Whitetail. Jumped a good 150 class whitetail yesterday and passed on a 130 class.

Right now I’m set up over looking a draw with all kinds of scrapes and rubs that leads to an alfalfa field. Current temp is 39, it’s sleeting and wind is blowing at around 30 mph.

That is awesome, best of luck. I have tried drawing an archery elk tag the last 2 years and failed. Im pretty sure if I fail next year, Im just going to go ahead up there and hunt mule deer and maybe whitetail as I have access to a 10,000 acre farm.
