I have been really looking at them. I like the 28" ATA. I'm still using my Reezen from 2009. Not sure if it is worth the upgrade. But they look nice!

I have one on order. I'm going to have to try to be patient!!

I guess I better start pilin' up necessary accessories.

Went and shot the Triax and Halon 32 today. Really splitting hairs on which one I liked more. Slight edge for me went to the Triax for balance. Going to shoot a few other brands before deciding, but the Triax may be tough to beat.

I shot it along with the halon, and if I were to buy one of the two I personally would go halon. It just shot better for me, and the string angle was off on the triax. Both very nice bows but not good enough to part with my currant bow.

My SBXT is 12 yrs old and I’m itching to get a new one. Gonna try several and the Triax will be first.

Barring breakage/theft, it’ll probably be my last bow...

Try the Triax last. You won’t pick up another bow

                          Mathews Triax

I went and shot the Hoyt pro defiant and Elite Impulse after the Mathews. I’m kind of torn between the Elite and Mathews. I wish I could have shot them side by side, but unfortunately that wasn’t a option. Going to be a tough decision.

Well it didn’t arrive but I doubt I’ll like it better than the Halon 32.

                              FND,
Have you decided which you liked better?
I stopped in to Texas Archery yesterday and spoke with Richard and Joey about them a little while getting my wife's Chill SDX worked on. I shot Richards personal Halon32 rigged out with stabs and such. Great bow, but even the bone stock Triax with QAD rest felt more dead in the hand than a loaded Halon. Thats just my personal experience though.
