W lake elevation has come up over the last month very slowly. Except +.43 feet in the last 24 hours.

                        W lake elevation: -1.01 feet
                        A lake elevation: -.14 feet

                        Waco elevation: +2.02 feet

Can't say I have. And don't see why they would. The lake was designed/engineered to hold just so much. And if the "normal level" is raised to a "new normal level", then the lake may not handle what flash floods it gets now. It is an easy lake to flood since the average depth is not that great. And the flood plain not very large. Just 3 or 4 feet above normal will take up a great deal of the current flood plain. And we've already seen what 8 foot above normal will do.

If they do raise the current level, I bet it's just a temp thing. Probably something has to do with down stream. But if that were the case, Whitney will be raised too. And maybe Waco.

Where i hunt, during the floods the water stayed on corp land if they raise it it will flood private land. If they raise it it sure would open up a lot more fishing
