Welp. At the very end of my son’s hunt this morning my son needed to pee. I forgot to bring a pee bottle so I let him go out the door of a stand that sits about 8’ off the ground. Less than 5 minutes later two does came out of the woods about 60 yards UPWIND of us and tested the wind and busted us. It was a very slight breeze and may have shifted but I was surprised they smelled it. Lesson learned. I’ve never had that happen but it got me to thinking. Thoughts?

Yep. Me or my son Pee out of my stand window every sit. Still see deer. Still see mature deer. Only get busted when the wind is wrong. My bowstand is 18 yards from the feeder.Originally posted by Dakota7493 View PostComment

I have peed next to a stand on a hunt and still seen deer. Can’t imagine that would cause you to be busted.Comment
