Does anyone have an old AR lower with the large front pivot?

I have an old M16A1 upper that I am looking for a lower to fit. I have a pivot pin bushing but don't really want to go that route.

Recently bought a LE6920-MPS 5.56 for nighttime hog hunting. Was in a gun store picking it up and checking out suppressors and the guy behind the counter said the really won't help on a 5.56. Is this true? I'd really like to quieten it down if possible.

Go somewhere else. They don’t deserve your business.

A quality suppressor will take your AR down to near 22LR levels. It’s not as quiet as a bolt action because of the gas system but it is MUCH quieter than unsuppressed.
