Scoutguard not working

1 of My Scoutguard TC's that I bought last year does not do anything when I plug in the ipod looking control. I need to reset it and won't do anything. Another camera I used the same control on(ipod thing) and I was able to get it to work fine.
Anybody know where I can send this thing to get checked-out?

Are the batteries dead??? That would be my first thing to check...

I routinely find myself forgetting to put the SD Card in them. They don't behave correctly without them.

Nope. Brand new batteries and tried different memory cards. When I plug in the controller it shows all the set up but I cant do any changes to it. I would set up like that to see if it works but it is set up for pics every 10 seconds.
The ants got in to it and I opened it up and found a bunch of dead ants in it. Could they have shorted something out?
