GREAT weekend at the ranch in Kerr Co

Well, I successfully guided a few hunts this weekend at the ranch. Was looking to sell a couple of hunts to help with the machine rental costs of clearing cedar and here’s what we took in three days. We had a blast and the guys that showed up were super great! My buddy even got his first trophy! Congrats John, Clint and Joe!

It sure was a heck of a weekend and I’m sure glad to have taken those guys out! We are not a ranch that sells hunts but occasionally guide when we have an abundance of one specie and in this case it was axis.

Man what a weekend. I’ve been meaning to post but got busy with a new job. This was my first axis hunt and let me tell you I’m spoiled from the hospitality. I stayed awake all night from all the excitement watching all the deer with my night vision. The following morning we literally put the smack down on my buck. Not only Was i excited but so was Misty, her sister and Clint. I can’t wait to go back. This was not only my first trophy axis but I struck up a friendship that was very genuine.

I’ll keep yalls info and if we decide to unload some more I’ll let you guys know. It’s not a trophy ranch or anything like that, we are just blessed to have a pretty good group of exotics and We don’t mind giving up some hunts for good folks. Nothing five star about the place except us [emoji6]
