Whataburger is horrible.

Only eat there when the choices are limited.

But I wasn't raised in the cult

Not much on Whataburger either unless it's the Taquitos. I like the sonic jalapeño cheeseburger or a whopper with cheese from BK.

LMAO at people saying Whataburger is horrible?

Did someone say Burger King is better? Dear lord man. That is insane.

The taquitos? WTH are you a yankee? This is Texas. Tacos do not come from Whataburger. The BOB is where it's at.......in more ways than one.

On a real note, I eat more whataburger than I should. (IF that's possible) because not only do they have good fast food but they take care of schools. I cannot even get close to the amount of money that we spend at whataburger in the year but it is normally ranging from $400-600 each time we go there. Plus the bus drivers and coaches eat for free which is a plus and they let us charge it.

Plus when you order more than 10 meals, they give you a sweet whataburger canvas like bag to carry it in

Maybe, except with flavor

I get it, you go to Whataburger daily, order it with a DP, drive off with your Tundra giving the hook-em horns sign and yelling Remember the Alamo Texas!!!!!! at the top of your lungs

I understand you want everyone to know. I'm just saying I like flavor in my food.

Patty melt with extra creamy pepper or the Montery Melt are my go-to. Get the meal with some cream gravy to dip the fries in, along with some spicy ketchup.

I have had it. It's good. I am not a hater. I will tell you what I do not like.....the whole slice of onion. It overpowers the rest of the ingredients. They need to put about 3 rings on there. Burger Street does it with red onion. Now that's how it's done.

its a SAD situation for sure.. but truth is they pretty much sux now.. went last night, in Greenville and the Patty Melt, ughh, the chicken Strips,,, how can you mess up Chicken Strips.
what a shame.. years ago, when I went to A&I, in Kingsville ( A&M ), the Whataburger there was the best,, what with the midnight munchies, you know from studying all night that triple patty with bacon was great... now nasty.. IMO,,, don't want to offend

Heck yeah. That's my consolation prize when I don't shoot anything and I'm headed back from hunting in Natalia. I stop in Lytle and get a sausage, egg and cheese Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit meal. Hash Brown sticks are good too.

Then I'll stop in at lunch for a Patty Melt.

Maybe it's just the location, as others have mentioned. The one in Lytle is usually very good....

.... well, except for that time they gave me a huge cup of hot tea instead of coffee, and I didn't realize it until after I had mixed in creamer and sugar and took my first sip on the highway. I almost turned around to go back. I just hit them up next trip and they made it right.

All the best,
Glenn

Which Mansfield location have you tried? The one off of Main St (157) is the one I hit, and other than it taking 3 times longer than any other joint, the burgers are good. The sweet and spicy and the A-1 are the first one my list.

I have eaten there hundreds of times and honestly the only time i leave thinking it was a good decision is when i have have been "over served" at another establishment. Just a week or so ago I tried a patty melt, i was running late leaving the dear lease and was starving, i took about three bites and threw it away. It was terrible.

One thing In N Out has over Whataburger is the temperature of the product.. I like em both I just wish Whataburgers came to the table as hot as In and Out.

The chop house has their creamy steak sauce I believe. HEB sells a lot of those sauces on their own now, but I can’t let myself buy them or they’d be on everything

Whataburger is by far the best fast food chain burger there is. It's not the Dairy Bar in Brenham, or Dairy Cone in Columbus, but it's **** good still. It is also a bit of a cult thing. I eat it at least twice a week.

They quit making my two favorites, the Chophouse and A1 Thick and Hearty.

The Monterey Melt is the only one left that I like.
I am not a fan of the Sweet and Spicy.

That's what I don't get. Why is liking Whataburger a defining characteristic of being Texan? Can't be American if you don't like hot dogs or apple pie? Silly
That sounds like something a californian would say.......

Born in Denison and we lived in Sherman. No Whataburgers. We then moved to Waco. Parents loved it. Took all of the northerners there when they visited. 6th grade center in Waco there was one across the street. Got a Whataburger Jr and a DP every day after school.

Raised on it and they are **** good burgers.

No. Good point. Virtually every time I go there I am not traveling alone and I am an accommodating friend. If my friends want it I’ll go along, begrudgingly.
