    Brighton's mower re-build

My youngest son Brighton took on re-building a 5' brushhog.

It was eaten up with rust cancer pretty bad

So he stripped all of the rusty sheet metal off so that he could rebuild from the bare frame.

New channel was cut and bent for the sides and new sheet metal was fit in and welded

He then abrasive blasted and primed it

And then a final couple coats of paint

He had a couple of hiccups in the process but all in all I think it turned out good, he got valuable experience and I believe this thing has several more years in it now!

Funny, we talked about this today, this certainly could have been done at the house but forklifts and jib cranes are handy and they are only 5 miles away [emoji57]

Yeah, I was gonna comment about the lifts at what i thought was home shop. Then I saw the pallets, yard etc.

Either way it's good to see kids interested in working with their hands.

Nice work. Very cool to see the boys turning out work like this. Way to teach them Brent. Skills that they will carry on for a life time.

Very nice project, young men learning to work like this will never go without a job.
