I had the same thing happen a few years ago on a buck.I shot him(looked perfect) watched him go back after a doe after standing under me for a minute bleeding behind the shoulder.As he walked away from me I hit him with one more which put him down in about 50yds.It was definitely wierd!Congrats on yours!
