How to keep the weevils out?

I'm thinking of stocking up enough corn for the season, before it hits $15/bag. I have indoor storage that will keep rodents out, but what can I do about the weevils?

Maybe take the shrink wrap off, coat with 7-dust, and re-wrap??

I'm wanting to do the same thing.....

Mine just comes in paper sacks. The way things are going it might make sense to repack it all in those Food Saver bags.

Chances are they are already in there.

The guy at the feed store where I buy mine says that the weevils are in the corn when you but it. I need to ask him what to use to stop them.

wonder if you could store it in a freezer, if that would kill the weevils?

Ammonia pellets from the feed stores. Just throw some in periodically, keeps weevels out.

Yes, cooling them would retard weevil infestation.
                    Keep the corn dry though.

For 110 degrees F., there was a good infestation of weevils, he says. But after six hours, there was no weevil emergence. At 140 degrees F., the mortality rate actually dropped compared to oven-dried test.
correctly, I could put sacks of corn in the attic to remove any weevils?

Or even leave the sacks in the back of the truck, maybe cover them with a black tarp, and park in the sun all day?
