2 shots 2 kills 200 yards
Yesterday while checking our whitetails, we rolled up on a pack of hogs under a feeder. Got within 200 yards of them with the truck and was able to take 2 shots. Got the biggest hog, the momma, first with a head shot in the cheek, she dropped like a rock. Then was able to get a piglet with a head shot- also dropped like a rock. The piglet is the first colored hog I've ever seen or shot, we usually get the plain black variety. The 243 did its job!
Oh and all of this while I am 8 months pregnant! I'm glad pregnancy hasn't effected my aim. Hoping to do a little coyote hunting over the carcasses this week.
