    Cooler clean out suggestions?

Loaned a buddy my orca 140qrt cooler. Well he left some meat in there and forgot about it. So now it smells bad. Real Bad!! He cleaned it and has left it open for awhile but it still has that smell. Any recommendations on a process to get rid of the smell? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx!

Put some cheap coffee in the cooler it will absorb the smell.

Bleach and leave it in the sun. Repeat.

          Pine-sol will work.

Make sure you get under the rubber seal, if there is one. Rinse, wash, and repeat until the smell is gone.

Tell your buddy he just bought a stinky 140qrt cooler.

Have your buddy keep that one and buy you a new one!

give this a try.....Mix baking soda with water to make a paste the consistency of tooth paste. Using a clean sponge, smear paste on bottom, sides and lid. Let it dry over night. Rinse the next day.

If that fails, point friend to closest Orca dealer for a new 140 qt

Set in the sun with lid opened for "sun bleaching"

                        Vanilla extract works very well.

Don't do the charcoal thing. Then it'll just smell like charcoal. Do the bleach, rinse, sun, repeat. It cured my yeti after my buddy "forgot" he kept a trout. Speckled trout in a yeti for a week in August is a bad deal. He did clean it up and give it back looking and smelling brand new though.
